Our First Over Night Visitors

Here's a peek at the first residents of the well house.

Jan also took this lovely shot of the swallows that nested along the well house rafters. We had about eight nests in a row. The only problem with next year is that these nests were on the INSIDE of the well house. (I haven't cobbed the walls yet, but hope that has happended before next summer.) We will have to figure out how to make a ledge for them under the outside part of the roof.
